McLane Classic Foods

Burleson helped McLane Classic Foods relocate their headquaters along with a 96,000 square-foot facility with plenty of room for expansion.

Founded in 1992, McLane Classic Foods relocated its Fort Worth headquarters and manufacturing facility to Burleson in 2019. The company, which is part of the McLane Group, specializes in manufacturing custom developed and prepared soups and sauces and side dishes for national restaurant chains, including Potbelly Sandwich Shops, Denny’s, Panera Bread, and Logan’s Roadhouse.

"It didn’t take us long to determine that Burleson was where we wanted to be"

CEO

The Burleson EDC worked closely with McLane on an agreement to relocate the company’s headquarters. A city-council approved Tax Abatement Reinvestment Zone paved the way for the development of the 96,000 square-foot facility, which has plenty of room for expansion, in Burleson’s Highpoint Business Park East, located along I-35W.

McLane Classic Foods relocated 40 jobs to the Burleson community and $35 million in capital investments.

“We are extremely excited about making Burleson, TX the new home of McLane Classic Foods. It didn’t take us long to determine that Burleson was where we wanted to be and, equally important, Burleson wanted McLane Classic Foods said Chris Horan, CEO. There are so many exciting things happening in Burleson and I think many of our current and future employees will find it to be a wonderful community to live and raise a family.”
